Capella Systems is introducing Cambria Stream Router, a new way to ingest, distribute and route live streams across Cambria Stream deployments. We’ll be demonstrating Stream Router at IBC 2026, 11–14 September at the Amsterdam RAI, booth 7.D37.
Cambria Stream Router provides a centralized layer to ingest, distribute, and route live streams across Cambria Stream deployments. All incoming streams are first received by Stream Router, which then dynamically delivers the appropriate stream to one or more programs.

By allowing a single incoming stream to be distributed tomultiple programs, Stream Router simplifies primary and backup encoder configurations and makes live workflows easier todeploy and manage. Configuration is integrated directly into Cambria Stream Manager for centralized control.

Stream Router supports major IP protocols including RTP, SRT, RIST, and Zixi. Upcoming enhancements will add Stream Router redundancy and metadata injection to support Cambria Stream’s Dynamic Swap and seamless failover workflows.
